  • Wind Energy Network

    The Wind Energy Network champions the strengthening of domestic companies and the settlement of new wind energy companies through active lobbying work, company networking, the pooling of information and know-how. As a network for wind power in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, we are able and available to answer questions and to pave the way for contact with sector companies, universities and research facilities, administration and politics.

  • Blekinge Offshore AB

    The Blekinge Offshore Company was started in order to build a wind farm in Hanöbukten that may be the largest in the world. In Karlshamn, Sweden there is an ability to connect at least 2,500 MW of wind energy to the electricity grid. This equates to 500 wind turbines with a power of 5 MW or more than 800 wind turbines of 3 MW each. The wind farm is expected to produce about 8 TWh annually when the project is fully deployed. The company has since the fall of 2008, examined the conflicts of interest that may arise at an establishment in the area. Blekinge Offshore intends to submit the environmental permit application to the Environmental Court in 2010.

    Offshore Center Danmark is the official national competence and innovation center for the Danish offshore industry. On behalf of its +210 member companies and institutions Offshore Center Danmark push development with the aim of growth within the Danish offshore industry.

    Focus areas are oil & gas, offshore wind, the offshore maritime area and wave energy.

    Core activities include: Facilitation of networking activities in between businesses and between businesses and universities, Management of technical and industry-wide development projects, Knowledge sharing activities including seminars, conferences, B2B events and promotion of the Danish offshore sector in an international perspective.
