Component 5:


The growth of the offshore wind energy (OWE) sector will bring about an increasing job potential in the South Baltic regions, some of which suffer from a severe lack of employment opportunities for highly qualified workers. This component contains activities which aim to increase the supply of specialists in the region and to accommodate the demand of the Offshore Wind Industry. The Public Institution Strategic Self-management Institute , Lithuania is the responsible partner for this Component.

Exemplary activities and results: Report on the state of the art of OWE education in the South Baltic area and proposals for future qualification offers, expert lectures at schools and universities, a cross-border road show, local career events, international summer school, etc.
